Planes, Trains, and Automobiles?

We have been on the move. Literally and metaphorically. We finally moved into our new condo. Yay!!! We absolutely love it and I couldn't be happier. I can't believe it's been almost a month since we did. Time flies. Speaking of flying, we also went back east on vacation over the Memorial Day week. What a fun trip!! 3 days in NYC, 1 day in Boston Ma, and 4 days in beautiful CT. It was the highlight of our summer and even though sadly I'll be sitting at a desk for the rest of the summer (bye bye vacations for me) it was totally worth it. I'll have to post some pics later. (Side note: still no internet but I'm hopeful it'll be up and running by August. Say a little prayer for me.)

For the last 3 weeks my older sister was here visiting with her family. Check out the Hewards blog for pics of my adorable neices and nephew. Yup. Both of my sisters had babies this year, only 2 months apart. So now I am an aunt 3 times around instead of once. I love being an aunt. It's the best! So when's it my turn you say? If I had a dollar for every time I've heard that recently I would be typing this from my own computer with internet instead of my in-laws. ;)

What's new with the Smith's? I suppose life will calm down a bit now that we have moved and suddenly have no money. But I'm not nervous about having a mortgage payment each month. I am nervous that on my next birthday (Feb. 15th) I'll be 30 and will have to change the title of my blog. How sad is that?! Any suggestions? I'm open to ideas. :) But seriously, it feels good to at least feel like we are accomplishing something in life and moving forward in adulthood. I don't think I mind getting older, although it seems harder to lose weight, so that's not so fun. But I'm excited for where our lives are going and this last year has been quite an adventure. We feel very blessed and fortunate to be able to afford our own place after only 1 year of marriage and are excited for our future there.

Well I suppose this blog is slightly boring but it's just refreshing and nice to be back on. I have felt so out of touch with the world these last few months as so much as changed with us. But life is good. No complaints. Although if any of you know a way I can get rich quick I'm all ears. Working is over-rated. Hey, I never said I WOULDN'T complain. hee hee.

P.S. We are planning a house warming party sometime in the next few weeks. We'd love for all to come that are able.

Till then, Sianara or however you spell it. Oh, and Happy 4th of July everyone!!
Luvs

URG!! I just tired to post a comment and it didn't work. Now I have to re-type! It said something like this:

You could call it "Confessions of a 30-Something Drama Queen". Or
"Confessions of a 'Wish I was still 29' Drama Queen". Of course you could just go with "Confessions of a Drama Queen". But we all know you can't leave out the Drama Queen! ha ha

Hey, I'm with Kelly. Totally keep the Drama Queen in your title, regardless of age or no age!

I love reading your blogs. They are so fun. I usually spend my time reading work stuff, so I've enjoyed blasting away a couple of hours browsing.

Love your new place Cami... it is perfect for you and Keith!

So when are you having a baby? (I kid).
February is too far away to be worrying about birthdays that start with 3 and end with 0. p.s. my b-day is Feb 10. Go Aquarians.

I really love the new place and am envious that I won't have my own walk in closet and marble counter tops for a very long time. Let's play before we head of dodge for the next 3 years.
